The system is installed for 1 household in Hanoi. With an area of less than 12m2, the system is designed with 1 tank of leftovers with a volume of 300l and 8 pots of hydroponic vegetables divided into 2 sets (each set includes 4 pots).
Every day or 2-3 days, leftovers after family meals are poured directly into the storage tank, and used as nutrition for vegetables. Various types of vegetables are grown such as water spinach, mustard greens, tomatoes, spinach, herbs…
The household waste treatment system not only helps us to protect the environment but also takes advantage of nutrients from excess food to use for plants.
